Ever seen a tennis ball attacking a drone?

Well, Robin Haase showed off his sense of humour during his match against Nicolas Jarry of Chile at the Melkhuisje Masters, an exhibition event held in the Netherlands over the weekend.

While serving a 5-6 down in the first set, Haase was visibly disturbed by a drone hovering over the court. That’s when he decided to launch one in the direction of the aircraft, much to the amusement of the spectators.

Obviously, though, the ball didn’t get in contact with it even as the crowd applauded Haase’s effort with a round of applause.

This is not the first time a tennis match has been interrupted by a drone.

A 2015 US Open match between Flavia Pennetta and Monica Niculescu was briefly halted due to a drone crash in the stands.

Closer to date, Lucas Pouille’s match against Andreas Seppi at the just-concluded Rome Masters was disturbed by a drone flying over a nearby court.
