Ana Ivanovic and her husband Bastian Schweinsteiger have decided to build a villa in Serbia, according to a report by Alo.rs.

The couple, who have been living together in the United States along with their new-born son Luka, don’t plan to move to Serbia though.

The plot lies in between the town of Ruma and Vrdnik village, where the family of Novak Djokovic, a 12-time Grand Slam champion and Ivanovic’s good friend, reside.

The report further added that the idea of buying the land came to Ivanovic’s mind after her father was told by his friend about the land he was looking to sell.

“Construction of the house certainly will not start this year, and it will not cost them less than half a million euros,” a source was quoted as saying.

“Ana and Schweinsteiger will hire the best architects to put their idea into action. The two of them are planning a large family, so this villa will be their paradise on earth,” it added.

Schweinsteiger, a former Manchester United star and German international, currently plies his trade for Chicago Fire in the Major League Soccer. Ivanovic, the 2008 French Open champion, has been retired since the end of 2016 season.
