Gael Monfils is perhaps the most entertaining guy in tennis at the moment. And the Frenchman was at it has humourous best in Indian Wells.

First, the 31-year-old entertained the fans by showing off dance moves for a bit following his stunning 6-7 7-6 7-5 win over American John Isner at the BNP Paribas Open on Sunday.

Later, at the post-match press conference, he tried to play a trick on the media.

Well-known journalist Reem Abulleil took to Twitter to share what exactly happened during the presser.

“Gael Monfils is hilarious. The lights were accidentally switched off during his press conference and room was pitch black. When lights came back on, he was hiding behind the table pretending he disappeared,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Monfils is scheduled to lock horns with compatriot Pierre-Hugues Herbert on Tuesday. The winner of the match will advance to the quarter-finals of the men’s singles event.
