Rankings Watch: Karen Khachanov Makes Insane Jump; Agnieszka Radwanska Back in Top 3

Russia’s rising star Karen Khachanov has leapt to a career-best ranking after pulling off his maiden ATP title in Chengdu. The 20-year-old, who prevailed 6-7 7-6 6-3 over Spain’s Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the Sunday’s final, jumped a whopping 46 places to No. 55 in the latest ATP rankings unveiled today.

Ramos-Vinolas, who’s bid to win a second ATP title (after Swedish Open 2016) went unsuccessful, also moved four places up to be placed 27th in the list headed by Serbia’s Novak Djokovic. Here’s how the ATP Top 10 looks.

WTA Rankings

Former World No. 2 Agnieszka Radwanska broke back into the top-three following her quarter-final run at the Wuhan Open last week. The Pole swapped a place with Spain’s Garbine Muguruza to be ranked No. 3 and 4 respectively. Germany’s Angelique Kerber, who won the Australian Open and US Open this year, continued to rest atop the crest, with 22-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams coming second.
