week 8 fantasy rankings

Wide receivers are taking over in today’s pass-happy NFL offenses. As the season nears its halfway point, some of the best pass catchers have risen to their expected positions at the peak of the fantasy rankings.

Denver Bronco Demaryius Thomas has solidified his spot atop the list after a slow start, and he recorded 105 yards in Denver’s 35-21 win over San Diego last night.

Green Bay Packer Jordy Nelson is headed for a huge Sunday Night Football match-up with the horrific New Orleans Saints defense, giving him the No. 2 spot.

And Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant could have his best game of the season when he meets the terrible Washington secondary at home.

Rounding out the top five are Pittsburgh’s Antonio Brown, who is definitely the most consistent receiver in the game right now, and Atlanta Falcon Julio Jones, who would undoubtedly be much higher on this list if his offensive line could protect quarterback Matt Ryan with any degree of effectiveness.
