Arsenal highlights 2014-15 season matches

Arsenal players confidence is sky high after winning 3-0 against Manchester City in the traditional curtain raiser of english football the community shield encounter and they not only won the game quite convincingly but also send a warning to all top 4 challengers that they mean business. New summer signing Alexis Sanchez started the game alongside Olivier Giroud while Arsenal are still waiting on Theo Walcott’s fitness.

Crystal Palace on the other hand played some good football last season and managed to survive in the league and they will be eager to make things easier this time around and start the season strongly.

Arsenal vs Palace – Possible Starting Lineups:

Arsenal are likely to go with a same starting lineup against Crystal Palace which took the field against Manchester City in the community shield game.

ARSENAL TEAM NEWS: Arsenal’s only big injury problem is Theo Walcott who is set to miss another month due to “Cruciate Ligament Rupture” which he suffered towards the end of the season. Apart from that Arsene Wenger is in market to buy a couple of more backup players before the summer transfer window is over.

Aaron Ramsey is likely to start alongside club captain Mikel Arteta and Jack Wilshere in the midfield while french striker Olivier Giroud will spearhead the attack with Ozil and Sanchez providing support from attacking roles.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Predictions:

The way Arsenal dispose off league champions City in the community sheild game its hard to see any other result than a thumping arsenal win at Emirates stadium this weekend. I am going with Arsenal to win by 3-1 with Sanchez scoring his first competitive goal for Arsenal.

[ What you think of this encounter, can Palace pull up a surprise and get something out of this match or we will see usual great Arsenal at the start of season ? let me know your thoughts in the box blow ]
