FM 2014 wonderkids British

I know its a few months to go before the Football Manager 2014 will be released but the point of addiction is so much to the game that I decided to share some of my expectations of young players from Briton who we might call wonderkids in the next installment of the game. I have been searching and I follow England lower leagues as well so here are some of the players I think will be great to buy from the British region. So who are they ? lets take a look at some of them and we will be updating this page frequently in the coming months.

Young Goalkeepers Wonderkids:

  1. Alex McCarthy (GK)
  2. Jack Butland (GK)

Both are great young keepers, Jack Butland is a solid keeper and i tried him in FIFA Manager 13 and he totaly rocked after couple of seasons. Since the Premier League season is over he is already links with whole list of big name clubs and I wont be surprised if he will make a big money move to either Liverpool or Arsenal.

Alex McCarthy on the other is also linked with a move to Spurs and he is a good keeper who develop really well in the game. So its a good bet to sign one of them in FM 14 if you fancy british players.

Young Defender Wonderkids:

  1. Luke Shaw (LB)
  2. Jon Flanagan (RB)
  3. Nathaniel Clyne (RB)
  4. Andre Wisdom (CB)
  5. Nathan Baker (RB)
  6. Chris Smalling (CB)

In British football right now we have some great up and coming players for several defending positions, the first one is Luke Shaw who already have some great experience in Premier League, tried him in FM 13 and he turned out to be a 5 star full back who develop really fast, cant see it changing in FM 14.

Another full back who is making a name for himself is Flanagan who is youngster from Liverpool and have featured in a few games at Right back at Anfield. Worth buy develops really fast.

Nathan Baker is one of the few players in Aston Villa side who had a good season in the 2012-2013 premier league edition and he will be the one to watch out for next season and will be a good buy in FM 14

Already a pretty much established Manchester United and England star, Smalling is future for United defense though injuries often caught up with him but he will be the best young defender in FM 14, its an easy bet.

Young midfield Wonderkings:

  1. Will Hughes (CM)
  2. Nathaniel Chalobah (CM)
  3. Nick Powell (AMC)
  4. Callum McManaman (AMR)
  5. Raheem Sterling (W)
  6. Ross Barkley (CM)
  7. Thomas Ince (AMR/L)
  8. Andros Townsend (AMR/L)
  9. Wilfred Zaha

Will Hughes, tauted as future Lampard had a superb season with Derby, in FM 13 he developed really well and a consistant goal scorer a very good buy for the FM 14.

Nathaniel Chalobah is a Chelsea youngster who is out on loan, had some great games under his belt and most probably chelsea wont be sending him back to on loan. A good player young defensive midfielder for FM 14

Nick Powel featured in a few games for United at the start of last season, and with Moyes coming to United he might get a few more chances next season and will be a super signing in FM 14

Raheem Sterling and Wilfred Zaha are both solid wingers, Sterling featured in quite a few games for Liverpool at the start of the season but with the signing of Sturridge his chances were limited but at just 18 he is one great player for the future, Zaha on the other hand helped Crystal Palace made it to the Premier League and will be playing for United who paid quite a hafty money for him last season. Both will be good but expensive young players in FM 14.

Alternative to Sterling and Zaha is Thomas ince, who has been in the transfer news since the season is over and clubs not only from England are interested Inter Milan reportadly made an inquiry for his signature, he will be a solid young winger in FM 14

Forward Wonderkids

  1. Adam Campbell

A good newcastle United player who has been labeled as new Wayne Rooney, well more because of his hair but boy can he play. worth a try in FM 14, my only forward wonderkid.

So thats about it for now, i will be updating this page more in the Pre season friendlies in the summer 2013, and i will be reading other wonderkids reviews around the net and will be updating here.
