The Champions League game between Bayern Munich and Besiktas was interrupted due to an unusual spectator intruding the field on Wednesday.

During the 50th minute of the match, referee Michael Oliver halted the proceedings after a cat breached the security and showed up at one corner.

The feline entertained the crowd for a bit, moving her and there in haste, before finding her way out by jumping over an advertisement board.

The play resumed soon after.

The disruption didn’t change the swing of the pendulum though. Bayern Munich showed off their superiority by going on to win by a 3-1 margin.

The German side, thus, pulled off a dominating 8-1 conquest of their Turkish opponents, having won the first leg with a lopsided 5-0 margin.

Bayern Munich have now entered the quarter-finals for the seventh year on the trot.
