Short list of best midfielders to take place in world XI have been published

FIFA has announced the 15 player short list of midfielders who will fight against each other to have a place in the FIFA World Team. In this list, Germany’s top midfielder and the hero of their world cup winning Tony Croos is in. It was expected however. Not only that, Argentine midfielder Angel Di Maria is also there as the top midfielder to bring his team to the finals.

On Friday, organization of football players FIFPro and organization of football FIFA announced a short list of players who has been elected to be the midfielders of the best possible squad of 2014. Many big names are there and they will be fighting it out to have a position in the world team.

Two more players from the World Champion Germany are on the list. They are Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mesut Ozil. In last season Schweinsteiger helped Bayern Munich to win the top league of Germany, Bundesliga.

Xabi Alonso, who played in Real Madrid and won the Champions League last season has also took a place in the short list. This season however, this Spaniard is playing in Bayern Munich.

Hames Rodrigus from Colombia also made it in the list. He scored 6 goals all by himself in the world cup and won the winning trophy of the most scorer in the Cup. He was declared the winner of Golden Boot due to his goal scoring.

In this list there is also Ses Fabrigus, Xavi Hernendas and Andres Iniesta from Span, Aden hazard from Belgium, Paul Pogba from France, Andrea Pirlo from Italy, Luka Modrich from Croatia, Yaya Toure from Ivory Coast and Arturo Vidal from Chile.

Undoubtedly these are the almost all the top midfielders of this time and only 4 to 5 of them will make it to World Top Team. It’s going to be very exciting to see which of these players will take place on that list.

The short list for top Forward’s who will be in the world eleven will be published on December 1.
