The SAFF Football Championship will get under way with a epic first game between arch rivals in any form of sport Pakistan vs India on 1st September 2013 and the Championship will be played in Nepal, as the South Asia Football Federation made the decision for the 2013 Championship to take place in Nepal and last it it was Sri Lanka who hosted the event.

SAFF has decided to stream all the match live online through their youtube channel which can be found at ( ) but the youtube stream is only available in countries outside south Asia. Pakistan, Banglades, Nepal and India are put together in the group A while we have Afghanistan, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Bhutan in the group B. Its a competition where any team can go on and win it the big prize as all the teams are below 100 in the official FIFA Ranking. Afghanistan however are the best placed in terms of ranking as they are located at 138 position while India are on 153 and Pakistan are at 167.

8 teams are divided into two groups of 4 each and top two from both groups will make it to the semifinals. as for the predictions we can expect India and Bangladesh to make it to the knockout round from Group A while Afghanistan and Maldives should get through Group B.
