New manager Louis Van Gaal guided Manchester United to a unbeaten pre season starting from US tour to couple of friendlies in europe, number of key players at the club are looking sharp and up for the challenge this year but football experts and fans believe that the squad is severly unbalanced to pose any threat of a title challenge and they need to buy a couple of players before the transfer window closes.

The first game of the premier league season will be an early kickoff at Old Trafford on 16th August 2014 between Manchester United and Swansea City kicking off at 12:45 Uktime.

Swansea City on the other hand has bought Bafetimbi Gomis who is a very consistant goalscorer from the french league, he will lead the forward line alongside Wilfried Bony while Swansea also brought former Arsenal keeper Lukas Fabianski. Gylfi Sigurdsson is another big name in the lineup as he swapped Tottenham for Swnansea City.

Manchester United vs Swansea Team News & Possible Lineups:

Man Utd: First couple of league games are very important for some of the squad members who are likely to be sold, Anderson, Nani, Javier Chicharito and even Darren Fletcher needs to come out strong to keep their place in the team are they are most definately are going to be offloaded. There is no injury worries ahead of the game and we might see Van Persie leading the forward line while Rooney and Juan Mata playing in behind him.

Ander Herrera should started in midfield, but its the defence which is severly broken for a top premier league team. Van Gaal need to buy a strong centre back and cover for Luke Shaw at the left back position.

Possible Starting Lineups:

blow is the possible team lineups which I expect for the opening game of the season.

Match Predictions:

United won all there pre season games but Premier League is different, no team want to go die without a fight and Swansea will give it there all come this saturday afternoon. United has a full squad to choose from with a good pre season under their belt, I can see them winning this game but just narrowly. Anything other than a win will put Manchester United right up on the disaster waiting to happen in the eyes of british press. What you think of this game ? can Manchester United start the season with all three points ?
