Man City beat Arsenal by 3 – 1

Through the goal of Aguero, Jesus and Bruyne Manchester City defeated Arsenal in their last meeting in English Premier League. Manchester City is in great form in EPL currently and Arsenal could not stop them as well. Through the goals of three stars, Man City beat Arsenal by 3 – 1. So, the team of Pep Guardiola still holding the top position of English Premier League point table. At the home ground, Man City won by 3 – 1 goals. It was their consecutive nine victory in the ongoing season.

Etihad Stadium, Citizens could have went ahead at the 12th minutes of the game. Aguero passed the ball to the Sane but Sane’s shot went outside of the goal post where English striker Sterling failed to touch the ball.

City kept forcing to the defence of Arsenal and in 19th minutes of the game, they took lead successfully. Cech stopped the ball first time but could not hold the ball but Kevin De Bruyne took the chance. With Fernandinho’s help, he made a strong and speedy sot and stopper Cech could not stop that. At the end of the first half, City missed two most easy opportunities. In 37th minutes, Sterling went to the attack from the right side. He got the stopper alone but he did not take the shot but passed the ball to Sane. But ball was too speedy and the German midfielder could not grab that. Just a minutes later, Argentine striker could not touch the ball in front of goal post.

At the beginning of the 2nd half, Aguero made a successful spot kick and increased the goal difference and Arsenal went under pressure. Sterling was fouled into the box by Spanish defender Nacho Monreal and referee gave penalty. In ongoing season of EPL, Aguero scored 8 goals so far and jointly holding the top position with Tottenham Spurs star Harry Kane.

In 56th minutes of the game, the Gunners striker Nigerian Iwobi made a long shot but stopper stopped the ball. But Arsenal came to the match in 65th minutes. Iwobi gave the ball to Ramsey and Ramsey to French forward Lacazette who made a strong shot to the goal post and succeeded.

Later in 74th minutes, Brazilian star Gabriel Jesus did not miss that time and made the winning goal. Through the victory, Man City played total eleven matches in the season and won ten of them and rest match was drawn.
