Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy and his wife Rebekah have opted for an advanced secutiry system for their new mansion in the wake of recent death threats.

Vardy became a subject to criticism following the sacking of Foxes coach Claudio Ranieri earlier this year. He claimed to have received death threats from enraged fans.

Besides that, Vardy’s wife Rebekah was targeted on social media, with Twitter users saying they wanted to ‘rape’ her daughter Sofia (2), and wanting her newborn Finley to be a ‘stillborn’.

And with the new precautionary measure, Vardy and Rebekah can now keep a tab on mobile phones as to what is happening in their house, reports The Sun.

The system will also alert the couple whenever there is any movement inside and/or outside the mansion.

Rebekah took to Instagram to share a picture of her son captured through the security unit.

“Ahhh my little man first night in your own bedroom #growingtoofast,” she captioned the image.

Ahhh my little man ???? first night in your own bedroom ???? #growingtoofast
