Ibrahimovic showed magic once again: Manchester United won League Cup

Swedish goal machine Ibrahimovic showed his magic again in last match against Southampton and so, the Red Devils won the League Cup once again. In the match, Ibrahimovic scored twice goals including the winning hit. Based on his magic, Manchester United beat Southampton by 3 – 2 goals in the final match of League Cup. Earlier yesterday, the final match of the League Cup was staged at Wembley Stadium, London. In the match, Southampton was outnumbered since the beginning of the match and fallen behind by 2 – 0. But, they finally brought balance with the Red Devils. But, luck was against them. They created a plenty of chance to score more but failed to utilize the option.

However, Manchester United is regarded as the most successful English team and also the most popular and reach club throughout the world but their recent performance in Premier League is not so good. They are currently standing on 6th position of ongoing Premier League point table by holding 48 points and so, their chance to win this most prestigious title once more time is getting poorer day by day. But, in the meantime, they have successfully claimed another big title named League Cup yesterday and most of the credit goes to the Swedish striker Ibrahimovic.

Ibrahimovic is one of the top ranked striker in the current football world nowadays who joined at the Old Trafford in 1st July, 2016 which was a free transfer. He moved here just for one season and after arriving at the Old Trafford, he almost scored 15 Premier League goals along with four League Cup goals so far. He is just a goal machine. He played for plenty of renowned clubs like Barcelona, PSG, Juventus and so on and every times, he proved himself again and again.

However, in last match against Southampton, the Red Devils went ahead by Ibrahimovic and Lingard. But later, Gabbiadini scored pair of goals and so, the match came to a challenging moment. But, at the end of the match, Ibrahimovic once again showed his magic and scored a winning goal by head. So, the Red Devils left the ground with victory. Besides, it was the first title of the Red Devils under Mourinho.
