Everton started their 2014-15 premier league season with a hard fought 2-2 draw over Leicester City playing away from home, McGaedy and Naismith were on target for the merseyside blues while Chris Wood scored a late goal to get a draw for home side

Roberto Martinez side Everton started the new premier league campaign with a 2-2 draw against newcomers Leicester City on the opening day of 2014-15 premier league. Scotish winger Aiden McGeady scored in 21st minute of the game to put Everton 1-0 ahead but Jose Ulloa brought Leicester back into the game within seconds when he made it 1-1 in 22nd minute of the game.

Everton looked much the better side and they went into the break with lead when Steven Naismith scored on the stroke of halftime to make it 2-1. After the break Everton kept the possession superbly and played on counter attacks which worked great, only thing missing was the final pass. Chris wood made them pay in the dying moments when he converted to make it 2-2 and get a deserved draw.
