Galatasaray Ban for Two Years

The alert came on January this year. To violating financial rules Turkish club Galatasaray could be punished, UEFA was informed.

However, they could not fix the irregularities at the final financial calculation of 2015-16. For this reason, UEFA has banned Galatasaray from all European competition for the next two years.

This means, if in next two season Galatasaray will able to play on CL or EL but they will not be allowed to play in the Champions League or Europa League

At the current time there are in 5th position at Turkish Super League. The 2000’s Europa League winner played Champions League final in last four seasons. This season’s Champions’ League group stage eliminated Galatasaray also eliminated from the last 32 of Europa League after lost by Lazio.

However, the next two years unless they are unable, the Champions League or European sanctions will go away.
