Last years (2103-14) La Liga winners Atletico Madrid prove that it isn’t all about money. With a somewhat humble squad value of £275 million (GBP), Atletico Madrid did very well to pip the La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona to the title. The landmark win was Atletico’s first league title in 17 years.

The most significant shift in market value comes from Koke and Arda Turan. The attacking midfield star Koke goes up from £26.4 million to £35.2 million. Left winger Turan goes up from £22 million to £26.4 million. Real Sociedad transfer Antoine Griezmann enters in the third spot, with a market value of £26.4 million.
