Cristiano Ronaldo uncovered his statue

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo uncovered his own statue at his birthplace.

Ronaldo went to Funchal city of Madeira to uncover a 3.4 meter high statue of himself. It is a part of a museum which made on this Portuguese Winger.

The legs are a bit away from each one and both the hands are at the side of the legs. The eyes are focused on the target – Ronaldo’s usual free-kick stance is like that and the statue is made on that pose.

Ronaldo grew up on Funchal city. Saturday when he came to uncover the statue, he was very emotional and amazed.

Ronaldo took pictures with his fans and his family with the statue as a background. The picture he took his mother and son came to the media as well.


Ronaldo played for Manchester United in England and at the moment he is playing for Real Madrid who holds the record of winning the most amount of Champions League Trophy. Many consider Real to be the most achieved club in Spain’s history.

In this season, Ronaldo already scored a total of 34 goals in 27 matches for Real Madrid and Portugal national team combined.

“Ronaldo didn’t forget about his birthplace” – said Ronaldo’s mother. She also said that, Ronaldo comes to this city whenever he gets the chance even though he is very busy in Real Madrid.
