Confed Cup – Japan vs Brazil Highlights
Brazil 2-0 Japan Highlights
Brazil will go into the match as hot favourites playing at home infront of packed samba crowd, against a talented but inexperience Japanese side who will be looking to go against the odds and put together and upset. Brazil are coming into this match on the back of two high profile friendly matches where they faced two quality European sides with England and France visiting Brazil in the space of one week.
Brazil Team News:
Brazil are expected to start the similar side which played against France on 9th June, Neymar will be upfront with Fred and Dimao while in the midfield they will have Ramirez, Oscar and Paulinho who scored the important goal against Brazil. Full team news and confirmed starting lineup will be available few hours before the start of the match.
Brazil defeated France 3-0 in a very one sided affair while England got a 2-2 draw at Marcana stadium on 2nd June 2013, Brazilian fans will be hoping that new Barcelona signing Neymar can light up the confederations cup as all eyes will be on him in this massive competition which is a show piece event 1 year before the biggest sporting event in the world as FIFA World Cup will be taking place in Brazil in 2014.
Japan are the first asian side to have booked their place in the FIFA World Cup next year, they join Brazil who are host nation as the two confirmed teams for next year big event, and they will be hoping to get some good results in confederations cup and later in the friendly matches to gain momentum and achieve somthing special with their pool of very talented players.
Brazil should win this game with ease, they are playing at home and in good form as well, while Japan is a quality side but it will be difficult for them to adapt to Brazil conditions and the level of play their opposition has to offer. I am going with and easy 3-1 win for Brazile who are getting better with every match under flippe Soclari.
