Arsenal Season Summary 2012-2013
Arsenal are one of the biggest clubs in Premier League, and they are fighting for the Premier League top 4 finish which will give them Champions League football next season, they are up against their two London rivals Chelsea and Spurs who are neck and neck going into the last weekend of this season. Arsenal’s fate is in their own hands and if they can win the last game away from home againt Newcastle United at St James Park on 19th May 2013.

Arsenal started the current season in a very poor form, they struggled from the start and never got going. Knocked out of the domestic cups early, beaten by Bayern Munich in the Champions League Round of 16, and figthing for the top 4 finish and without a trophy for 8 years now and counting. Arsene Wenger would love to finish in the top four and quickly forget about yet another season without any silverware, and if they failed to qualify for the Champions League next season they will be in a real mess going into to the next season.

Its a big game for Arsenal and they know that they can not afford to drop points in this match, Arsenal are currently 2 points behind Chelsea and 1 ahead of Spurs in a season which is turning out to be a belter, A defeat against Newcastle combining with Spurs win will put Arsenal off top 4 and into the 5th place and that is why there is not other option but to win this match. Last Premier League week will see each and every team playing at the same time at around 15:00 BST.
