2019 Copa America will be at Brazil

Copa America Centenario is going on at United States. The oldest international football tournament’s 46th edition host country is being final. South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) president Alejandro Dominguez has confirmed the name of Brazil as the host country of 2019 tournament.

2014 World Cup held in Brazil after the Confederations Cup 2013. In August the Olympic Games will hold at Rio de Janeiro. Three years later, in June-July Copa’s next edition will also host by Brazil.

In fact, according to the rules Brazil was named as the host country of 2019 Copa America and it announced before. But it was the waiting for final official proclamation. The 2023’s event is expected to be in Ecuador.

The first time any country outside South America is the host of Copa America. Speaking in the context of the Special Edition in United States, Alejandro Dominguez confirmed Brazil for 2019, “The United States is one of the best organizers, as demonstrated last year by Chile and Brazil will be in 2019.

“People are enjoying it a lot. Football is a great show. I hope, also at the top level of football, and it will be sent to.’ President of CONMEBOL added.

Brazil had the responsibility of hosting the Copa America four times before. They were the Champions at all times at home in 1919, 1922, 1949 and 1989 editions as well.
