Young duo of Nick Kyrgios and Stefanos Tsitsipas were handed a 3-6 6-3 5-10 defeat at the hands of No. 1 seeds Juan Cabal and Robert Farah at the Washington Open on Monday.

They, however, didn’t go down without putting on a show. Playing against one of the finest doubles duo currently, they played some spectacular points during the 65-minute encounter.

One of them came during the fag end of the second set, when Cabal and Farah were dominating a rally at the net.

Kyrgios, the showman that he is, turned it around by nailing a lob tweener. Tsitsipas then complemented him well by finishing it off with a perfect forehand volley.

No wonder, the duo celebrated in style. The best point of the match, maybe?

As for Cabal and Farah, the duo who won the Wimbledon title not very long ago, are next slated to lock horns with either Leander Paes/ Jack Sock or Alex De Minaur/ John Peers in the quarter-finals.
