Afghanistan cricketers have been making lot of noise with their performances in the ongoing Twenty20 International series against Ireland.

Earlier in the series, their opening batsman Hazratullah Zazai smashed 162 not out in just 62 balls – a world record.

And now, Rashid Khan took four wickets in four balls – equaling Lasith Malinga’s record – to help Afghanistan win the third and final match by 32 runs and sweep the series.

After Mohammad Nabi’s 36-ball 81 powered the Asian side to 210-7, Ireland – at 153-3 in 16 overs – looked all set to take it down to the wire.

Rashid, though, had other plans.

The wily leg-spinner first got rid of Kevin O Brien (74) on the last ball of 16th over. Then, he dismissed George Dockrell (18), Shane Getkate (2) and Simi Singh (0) off successive deliveries in 18th over to restrict Ireland to 178-8.

The 20-year-old finished with stunning figures of 4-0-27-5.

The two teams are now scheduled to lock horns in the five-match ODI series, beginning February 28.
