Controversial tennis player Nick Kyrgios showed off his sarcastic side after taking another dig at Novak Djokovic.

Kyrgios found himself at the receiving end of fans’ criticism after scribbling ‘Novak’ embossed on a young fan’s t-shirt before putting a cross on it and claiming: “This is what I think of you and your shirt, gone.”

Despite, the 24-year-old appeared unapologetic as he came up with a sarcastic reaction to the controversy.

“Yes, I’ve outdone myself,” he wrote on Twitter. “Wouldn’t want to scribble on a shirt and banter with some kids. What a bad dude.”

Continuing his sardonic take, Kyrgios added: “Actually, this has to be in the top tier of worst things to happen, ever. I’m the worst guy.”

Kyrgios has often expressed dislike for Djokovic, claiming the latter ‘wants to be like Roger Federer’ and has a ‘sick obsession with wanting to be liked’.

The Serb, however, has chosen to steer clear of the controversy so far, and once even offered to ‘help’ his Australian counterpart with some advice.

No wonder, it was blatantly turned down by Kyrgios.
