Graeme Cremer – Zimbabwe’s new Skipper

Graeme Cremer has been given the responsibility of Zimbabwe’s Test captain. Zimbabwe Cricket Board has announced a 16-man squad for the upcoming Test series against New Zealand on Thursday (21 July).

29-year-old Cremer was replaced by Brendan Taylor. Four new faces has announced in the squad. Chamu Chibhabha, Prince Masvaure, Peter Moore and Taurai Muzarabani has been given the opportunity to play test for his country.

Zimbabwe has played there last test match at almost 20 month ago against Bangladesh. On that test, they was lost under Brendan Taylor’s captaincy.

At July 28 the first Test against the Black Caps Zimbabwe will be held. The second and final Test kicks off on August 06 at the same time. Both matches will be held in Bulawayo. Earlier, in July last year New Zealand toured in Zimbabwe to play limited-overs series against Zim.
