It is not often that Juan Martin Del Potro loses his cool on court. But, the Saturday’s play at Davis Cup turned out to be an exception!

Up against the British duo of Andy Murray and Jamie Murray in the doubles rubber of World Group semi-finals, Argentina’s Del Potro (playing along with countryman Leonardo Mayer) had a moment of discontentment during the second set.

It all happened when Del Potro looked clearly disappointed with a call after Jamie caught the Argentine wide.

Del Potro, however, insisted that Jamie came in contact with the net while pulling off the point. What next? He approached the chair umpire before offering a friendly tug to his tie as the umpire kept on insisting that it was within the rules.

The original decision was ultimately retained, much to the dismay of Del Potro.

The Murray brothers went on to win 6-1 3-6 6-4 6-4, but Argentina still have a 2-1 lead heading into the Sunday’s reverse singles.
