Pakistan vs Zimbabwe 2015: The Pakistan cricket fans have a reason to be in raptures. Their six-year long wait to witness an international match home is finally on the cards, as Zimbabwe are scheduled to tour Pakistan later this month.

Pakistan could not host a single international match, as no team had the valor to visit the nation after the Sri Lankan cricket team was attacked by a group of terrorists in May 2009 here, injuring five players from the tourists’ contingent and leaving the cricket world in dismay.

However, a safety word from the Pakistan Cricket Board means that Zimbabwe will be the first Test-playing country to visit Pakistan since the incident.

“We are touring Pakistan as a measure of establishing bilateral relations between us and them. It is important because they will also come to Zimbabwe in August,” Zimbabwe Managing Director Alastair Cambell was quoted as saying by CricBuzz.

The tour will feature 2 Twenty20 Internationals and 3 One-Day International matches from May 22-31.
