Yorkshire is one of the most reputed team in Royal London One Day Cup competition and they used to take part as one of the nine North group member. In the ongoing season, their starting was so good. Till now in the tournament, they have played five matches where among them Yorkshire managed two victories including the last one. They faced defeat twice times as well and one match did not take place but abandoned due to rain which was about to against Nottinghamshire. In their last match against Leicestershire, Yorkshire won by 9 wickets.

Now, we come to consider the team Leicestershire. The team is passing very bad time in the season of Royal London One Day Cup 2018. Though, they started the season with victory but rest three matches in North group, they faced three consecutive defeats. In their last match against Yorkshire, Leicestershire was about to win but could not finally did that. They played well and scored handsome runs but their bowling line up did not do their job well but they were expensive.

At County Ground, Derby the match between Leicestershire and Yorkshire was took place in 27th May, 2018. At 11:00 BST the match started where Leicestershire won the toss and decided to bat first.

Cameron Delport and captain Paul Horton started the innings for Leicestershire. In 10 runs opener Cameron was gone with individual 8 runs. Later, in 14 runs Paul was gone as well. In 39 runs top three wickets were gone. So, as usual they fallen into pressure. Mark and Ned made partnership that added more than 120 runs to the scoreboard. Mark scored 84 runs and Ned scored 50 runs so far. Besides, Neil scored another fifty for the team. Based on the runs, Leicestershire did present 293 runs milestone in front of Yorkshire. They lost nine wickets totally in 50 overs. Matthew Fisher took three wickets highest where Ben and Adil scored two wickets each for the team.

Most amazingly, Yorkshire started to chase the score with Adam Lyth and Tom. Openers added 153 runs where Tom was gone with individual 74 runs so far. Lyth and Pujara played the rest of the times and left the ground with victory. Adam Lyth made a remarkable century of 132 runs and Pujara scored 75 runs so far. By playing 46.3 overs team Yorkshire scored 295 runs so far by losing just one wicket.
