Windies destroyed Zimbabwe A team in 143 runs

Earlier yesterday, team West Indies started to play a warm up match against Zimbabwe A team before playing the main Test series against team Zimbabwe. West Indies scored or exactly be said they declared their innings by scoring 336 runs by losing seven wickets. In return, Zimbabwe came to bat for the first innings where Windies destroyed Zimbabwe A team in 143 runs just. Zimbabwe A team could not standard in front of the dominating bowlers of Windies at the first innings though it was their home ground. They hoped to make a good innings at the home ground earlier.

In the first batting, Windies team stumbled first. In seven runs, their one opener was gone. But 2nd wicket partnership added 90 runs to the scorecard. Brathwaite who was one opener scored 53 runs for the team. Middle orders of the team West Indies were quite good and almost did their jobs well. Both Hope and Chase took retired out with individual 85 runs and 79 runs. However, against the Zimbabwe A team, Windies did not take much pressure but played frequently. However, in the current West Indies team squad, some talented players are not called this time. So, they have declared their 1st innings by scoring 336 runs so far. Chinouya and Mashinge took highest two wickets each for Zimbabwe A team.

However, came to chase the score, Zimbabwe started well but in just team’s 22 runs lost their first wicket Chari. Just one run after Musakanda was gone before opening run account. Burl also added just 16 runs so far. Another opener Chibhabha scored second highest 27 runs for the team. Moor was the skipper of the team but he did not do much better though he tried. He scored highest 32 runs as well. Rest batsmen just came and back to the dressing room quickly. Basically, Windies bowlers bowled so well and maintain proper line and length there in the match. At the end, Zimbabwe scored just 143 runs in their first innings. Holder is the current skipper of Windies and used total nine bowlers.Bishoo took highest three wickets where Reifer, Gabriel and Cummins took two wickets each.

Now, according to the last news of the match, West Indies came to bat for the second innings and finished the day by scoring 74 runs by losing one wicket. The warm up match consists of three days. The official Test match will start in next 21st October, 2017 at Bulawayo.
