MS Dhoni ain’t the only one who can pull off a helicopter shot. Well, that’s what Virat Kohli tried to say with the bat during India’s third and final T20I against England in Bristol on Sunday.

During the 14th over of the match, Kohli helicopter-ed a widish delivery off fast bowler Liam Plunkett all the way over long off. And, the captain knew Dhoni would be a proud man in the dressing room, as his expression suggested.

Earlier, England rode on opener Jason Roy’s 31-ball 67 to amass 198-9 in 20 overs. It was a fine comeback from the Indian bowlers as it looked like the hosts would get to 225 or so at one stage. Hardik Pandya was the wrecker-in-chief, finishing with 4/38.

India chased down the target with ease – with seven wickets in hand, to be precise – thanks to an unbeaten century from Rohit Sharma (100 off 56 balls).

The opener stitched valuable partnerships with Kohli (43) and Pandya (33*) to help the visitors win with eight balls to spare, and the series 2-1.

The two teams will now lock horns in the three-match ODI series, beginning July 12.
