Karachi Kings’ Shahid Afridi was at his best with the ball during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) game against Multan Sultans in Dubai on Saturday.

The veteran Pakistan all-rounder finished with impressive figures of 4-1-18-3 – all three clean-bowled – as Kings clinched a 63-run win over Sultans.

Among the three, the wicket that stood out was of Kieron Pollard’s. The West Indian was foxed by a peach of a delivery that turned from just outside the leg stump to knock over the top of the off stump, leaving the batsman stunned.

Afridi’s trademark both-hands-up celebration ensued.

And then the 38-year-old surprised Sultans’ Saif Badar and Shoaib Malik with the ones that came in.

Earlier, half-centuries from Joe Denly and Babar Azam scored fifties to propel Kings to 188-3 in 20 overs before restricting their opponents to 125 in 19.4 overs.
