There’s nothing Ravichandran Ashwin can’t do, they say. The Indian all-rounder proved it on Monday after he fittingly donned the role of a journalist.

It happened so when Ashwin was waiting for his press conference to take place, when – sitting alongside the journalists – he raised his hand to ask a question to West Indies T20I captain Carlos Brathwaite.

No wonder, Ashwin took the onlookers by surprise as he quizzed: “What do you think of cricket going to the US? You’re playing India there. Would you be expecting India to get more support or West Indies to get more support?”

India and West Indies are set to play a two-match T20 series on August 27 and 28 in Florida. This follows the four-match Test series in West Indies that India went on to comfortably seal 2-0.

Meanwhile, Ashwin was named the Man of the Series for his supreme all-round performances. With six series trophies in his cabinet, he has surpassed the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag, both of whom have won five each in their respective careers.
