On June 4 1993, legendary Australia leg-spinner Shane Warne pulled off a stunning wicket, which later came to be known as the ‘ball of the century’.

Coming in to bowl over the wicket to right-handed batter Mike Gatting, Warne came up with a round-armish action, pitching the ball outside the leg stump. Gatting, perceptibly, was looking to glance it towards the mid-wicket region, but what followed thereafter left him super-stunned. The ball turned a whopping distance to knock the off-stump off.

Exactly 22 years down the line on June 4 2015, West Indies leggie Devendra Bishoo (subconsciously) paid tribute to Warne’s gallant leg-spinner with an identical delivery to dismiss Australia batsman Brad Haddin. Awesome stuff, isn’t it?
