Pronouncing certain names can be difficult at times, especially if you have never heard them before.

Former Australia cricketer-turned-commentator Mark Waugh realized just that while commentating on Day 1 of the second Test match between Pakistan and Australia in the UAE on Tuesday.

While mentioning the name of Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman, Waugh failed miserably as he pronounced in what looked like a swear word. No wonder, the host and co-commentator Brett Lee couldn’t control their laughter.

Twitterati was no different. “Hahaha Fakhar Zaman Thanks for the laugh, @juniorwaugh349!” one person wrote.

“Why the fakr is Holland playing for Australia,” another one added.

Meanwhile, Pakistan recovered from 57-5 to amassing 282 runs in the first innings, thanks to Zaman’s 94 and captain Sarfraz Ahmed, who also scored the same number of runs.

Australia, in reply, are 20-2, with fast bowler Mohammad Abbas enjoying both scalps.
