Pakistan cricketers Wahab Riaz and Ahmed Shehzad were involved in an ugly on-field scuffle while representing their respective teams at the ongoing Pakistan Super League on Sunday.

According to The Indian Express, it happened so during the match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi, when in the fifth over of the Gladiator’s innings, Shehzad smashed Riaz for a six.

In the very next delivery, Riaz knocked over Shehzad from around the wicket as he followed it up with a series of roars. Visibly unimpressed, the latter raised his bat towards the bowler.

Subsequently, the duo went on to rush towards each other and let out a shove – only to be separated by the teammates – before Shehzad was made to go back to the hut.

Penalizing the twosome, match referee Roshan Mahanama announced a fine of 40% and 30% for Riaz and Shehzad respectively, besides an official warning from the Pakistan Cricket Board.
