The Tigers preparing to visit India to play the only Test

Team Bangladesh has recently finished a complete tournament and due to that they visited New Zealand. They played Test, ODI and T20I series against Black Caps but in return, they could achieve none only but experience. They were whitewashed in all three cases of cricket. They played three ODIs, three T20Is and two Tests matches with New Zealand but could not manage a victory over there. So, they have just returned with empty hand. Now, they are preparing for India tour where they are scheduled to play just a Test match. They are currently preparing themselves for the upcoming competition which will start in next February, 2017.

The Tigers preparing to visit India to play the only Test

Before playing the main event against India, the Tigers have got just one warm up match against the A team of India. The warm up match will be hosted in 5th February, 2017 which duration will be two days. The match will be staged at Gymkhana Ground, Secunderabad.

However, it will be the first time for the Tigers to visit India due to play a Test match. Though, they already met against each other before but all times, India visited Bangladesh. Till now, India played total 8 tests against the Tigers where they won 6 of them and lost none. Rest two matches were drawn. Their inaugural test was staged in 2000 and last time they played a long format match in 2015. So, it will be a new experience for team Bangladesh along with a great achievement. They will reach Hyderabad in next 2nd February, 2017 due to the match.

However, according to the schedule, the only test match will be staged in 9th February, 2017 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Though, both teams yet to be revealed their team squad for the upcoming competition. The tournament was about to be consisted of two test matches but later it was reduced.

The Tigers generally improves their batting, bowling and fielding in ODI format and due to the reason, they are placed in 7th position in ODI ranking as stated by ICC. But in Test, they are still a number of steps behind. But, though the match will be staged in their neighbours country and so, it would help them somewhat.
