The Tigers could not avoid follow – on at Hyderabad

In the only Test match at Hyderabad, team Mushfiq finally could not avoid follow – on. At the beginning of the 4th day before the first session end, the Tigers lost their last four wickets where they finished the 3rd day of the match with our wickets in hand. They finished the 3rd day when Mushfiq and Miraz were in the crease. But, at the beginning of the fourth day, Miraz just added one run to the scorecard and being out by Kumar.

Earlier of the second day of the match, India declared their first innings by scoring 687 runs by losing six wickets where three players made century including Virat’s double century. As India skipper, Virat made the highest number of double century and so, it is a record. He just needs two more double centuries to be equal with Sachin Tendulkar and Sehwag where both of them made six double centuries each.

To chase such ton of runs, Mushfiq team started well but could not make any long lasting partnership where they lost their wickets regularly within a short gap. Soumya was out with his 15 runs and later Tamim was run out unfortunately. Mominul and Mahmudullah were no better than them but scored 12 and 28 runs respectively. Shakib and Mushfiq tried to make protest but Shakib seemed a bit of hurry and made number of shots. He scored 82 runs in 103 balls which was almost in ODI style. So, as a result got out and the nice partnership was broken by Ashwin.

Later, Mushfiq tried to make another partnership with Sabbir, Miraz, Taijul and Taskin. Among them, Miraz stood for quite long and made his first test fifty and finished the 3rd day with Mushfiq. But, beginning of 4th day, Miraz gone out. Mushfiq made a century at last which is his 5th Test century. When they scored 388 runs, then they just need another 100 runs to avoid follow – on. But, all of a sudden, Mushfiq was out with his 127 runs. Rabbi remained not out with 0 run.

According to the latest news, though the Tigers could not avoid follow – on but the Blues has come to bat for the second innings and Vijay and Rahul are in the crease right now.
