T20 World Cup is not in 2018!

ICC T-Twenty20 World Cup is scheduled to be held in 2018 but it is no longer. Though it supposed to held in each 2 years, But the 7th edition of T20 world cup will not be held. For the next two years, many of the world’s best cricket nations will be busy in the bilateral series. The reason behind this is the time of the Twenty20 World Cup that was delayed.

Although there is a news of the ICC source, but there are no official announcements yet. It is known that the venue was not scheduled. The source said that this is really, the T20 World Cup in 2018 will not held.  No venues have been scheduled yet. The main reason is that in the next two years there are many bilateral series of ICC member nations. But if all is well, then this tournament will be held in 2020.

Although there are no venues yet for 2020, the probability of most likely to be in South Africa or Australia. In addition to the bilateral series, there are several other ICC events. The last World Twenty20 was in 2016 in India. Prior to that, South Africa (2007), England (2009), West Indies (2010), Sri Lanka (2012) and Bangladesh (2014) were responsible for organizing this event. So Australia’s chance could come.

West Indies won the last Twenty20 World Cup. West Indies got the record for the second time in the trophy.
