Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 31 runs

Once Sunrisers Hyderabad was the champion of Indian Premier League which was their first and last time. They are not one of the founding member of IPL but they started to take part here since more than couple of years. But since then they have made a place of them among the founding members. So, they are now playing in the 11th episode of Indian Premier League as one of the eight participants. Since the beginning of the season, they are in very good form and now, we are talking about the six match of the team. In the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 31 runs against the most successful IPL team named Mumbai Indians which are also the defending champion of IPL as well.

By playing six matches in the ongoing season, SRH has claimed four victories so far. That makes them placed among the top position on the IPL point table. But the position of Mumbai Indians is so shameful. Since the beginning they failed to bring judge to their name and fame. It was also their 6th match and in the season of IPL, they just managed one victory so far.

The match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians was the 23rd match of the tournament which was took place at the home ground of Mumbai Indians. At the Wankhede Stadium in 24th April, 2018 the match between them was executed where the toss winning team was Mumbai Indians. They elected to bowl first.

So, SRH came to open the match but they failed to do their job. The bowlers of Mumbai Indians did their duty very well and tied SRH innings within few runs. Dhawan and captain Williamson started the innings for SRH where Dhawan scored only 5 runs where skipper scored joint highest 29 runs so far. Pandey scored 16 runs and Nabi scored 14 runs for the team. Another highest scored was made by Pathan. So, in 18.4 overs Sunrisers Hyderabad getting all out scoring 118 runs so far. Markande, Pandya and McClenaghan took two wickets each for the team Mumbai Indians.

Later, Mumbai Indians came to chase the poor score. The target was easy enough to chase at the home venue. But Mumbai Indians failed to do that. Yadav scored 34 runs and Pandya scored 24 runs for the team. Rest players did not touch two figure runs in the match. So, in 18.5 overs their innings finished with 87 runs so far. This was the joint lowest total in Indian Premier League.
