It seems that the chance of getting qualified for playoff round for Royal Challengers Bangalore is getting smaller day by day. They failed to win significant number of matches in the season of Indian Premier League. As a result, they are in 7th position on the point table. If they will lose a match or more next, they will eliminate from the group stage. However, in their last match, they played against Sunrisers Hyderabad. In the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad won against RCB by 5 runs.

On the other side, The position of Sunrisers Hyderabad is very good. They are holding the top position on the point table. They are going to qualified for the next level for sure. They have a chance to win the IPL title once more time. They have quite experience to win a title as well. Their nearest opponent is Chennai Super Kings. They are very dangerous this season indeed. However, against Royal Challengers Bangalore, SRH has only played their first match in the season. They have still one head to head match waits.

The match between SRH and RCB was hosted at the home venue of Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was the 39th match of the tournament. The match took place in 7th May, 2018 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.

The it was the away match of RCB but they got the toss favour. They decided to bowl first in the match. So, Sunrisers Hyderabad started to bat with Hales and Dhawan. In 15 runs opening partnership of SRH was broken. Hales scored 5 runs and Dhawan scored 13 runs so far. Williamson is the captain of the team and led his team from the front. He scored 56 runs where Shakib also played well. He added 35 more runs so far. In 20 overs Sunrisers Hyderabad lost all wickets and scored 146 runs. The score was not high but SRH had the strong bowling lineup and so, they hoped for the best. Southee and Siraj took three wickets each for the team RCB in the match.

Later, RCB came up to chase the score 146 runs. They also lost opener Patel in 24 runs. Captain Kohli played well. He scored 39 runs. In the T20 competition, batsmen should not take much bowl to runs. But RCB wasted mush bowls in the ground. So, they had enough wickets in hand but did not get the victory. In 20 overs RCB finished their innings scoring 141 runs so far. They lost total six wickets where Shakib Al Hasan took two wickets for SRH.
