Mumbai Indians is the most successful franchise team in Indian Premier League which won the highest number of IPL title in history. Besides, they are the current champion of IPL as well. But in the 11th season of Indian Premier League seems not good for them. They failed to impress the audiences. They played two matches already as we speak but failed to manage at least once. In the opening match of the tournament, MI faced CSK at the home venue of Mumbai but faced defeat by 1 wicket. Later, in the 7th match of the tournament Mumbai Indians or MI played against Sunrisers Hyderabad, but once again SRH won by 1 wicket so far. However, through the victory, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed 2nd victory in IPL.

Now, if we consider the performance of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the new season of IPL, they started the season well enough and by playing two matches, they won both times. So, it seems that they are on the way to reclaim the throne of IPL. However, they have previous experiences of winning IPL title so far. But basically to defeat Mumbai Indians was a great achievement for SRH.

The match between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad was the 7th match in the ongoing season of IPL which was took place at the home venue of SRH is 12th April, 2018. The venue was Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad. In the match, Mumbai Indians faced defat in the toss and came to bat first. In the season of IPL, most of the cases, first bowling team win the match. So, Deciding to bowl first was the wise decision for SRH.

So, Mumbai Indians came to bat for the first time in the match. They played complete 20 overs but unfortunately failed to make a bigger innings there. They only presented 147 runs milestone in front of SRH in T20 cricket which seems very easy to chase. MI lost total eight wickets where their player Evin Lewis scored 29 runs highest for the team MI. Sandeep took two wickets for SRH in the match.

Later, Sunrisers Hyderabad came to chase the score which was presented by MI. With Sara and Dhawan SRH started their innings. Openers played well by adding 62 runs to the scoreboard. Dhawan scored 45 runs highest. SRH was about to lose the game but finally Hooda and Stanlake led the team to victory. They had to play full overs to chase the score and by playing the last ball, they made their victory. They lost total nine wickets where Mayank took four wickets highest for the team.
