PAKISTAN-ZIMBABWE ODIs, 2015: Cricket Pakistan has barely succeeded to stay away from controversies. After a bus, carrying the Sri Lanka team, was attacked by a group of terrorists in 2009, all the countries called a curfew over international cricket in the country.

Finally, when Zimbabwe agreed upon to visit Pakistan for a short tour, things appeared bright for the future of the sport. But, controversies sparked all over again on Friday after a suicide bomber reportedly drove near the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore, where Pakistan and Zimbabwe were involved in a One-Day International (ODI) match.

According to Outlook India, the suicide bomber blew himself up while riding an auto-rickshaw near the stadium, before a policeman tried to stop him from inching towards the ground, who, unfortunately took his last breath on duty.

Providentially, there were no kinds of casualties involved within the stadium, as hosts Pakistan survived a scare to beat Zimbabwe in the second of the 3-match ODI series.

The final battle is scheduled to be held at the same venue with more securities expected to take the guard on Sunday here.
