Australia is one of the giant team in International cricket and one of the two oldest team in the World as well. They are now in the Test schedule against South Africa and due to the purpose, they are visiting there right now. The first Test between South Africa and Australia has started in 1st March, 2018 and now it is the 3rd day of the Test. In the match, Australian bowler Mitchell Starc destroyed Proteas 1st innings at Durban so early.

At Kingsmead Cricket Ground in Durban the first Test between the two super power cricket team in the World started in 1st March, 2018 where Australian won the toss and decided to bat first. They played full first day and almost first session of the second day. Their first innings total is 351 runs by losing all wickets. They played total 110.4 overs and in the meantime, Mitchell Marsh scored highest 96 runs so far. Proteas bowler Keshav Maharaj took five wickets highest for the team. The score 351 runs in first innings was not very impressive but seems good. Besides, team Australia had the option to bowl and field very good and they did their job successfully.

Proteas came to bat for the first innings but they failed batting disaster. In 162 runs they lost all wickets where AB De Villiers scored unbeaten 71 runs for the team. Mitchell Starc was the main weapon of Australia who destroyed the Proteas batting line up by taking five wickets highest. It was his 9th five wickets hunt in Test cricket.

Elgar and Markram started the innings for Proteas where both of them added 27 runs jointly. Elgar scored 7 runs and gone first. Amla did not open his run account but gone with 0 runs. Markram and De Villiers played a bit where opener Markram scored 32 runs. Captain Plessis later joined with Villiers and scored 15 runs so far. And De Kock scored 20 runs. Rest players failed to touch two figure runs so far. In 162 runs, Proteas lost their all wickets. They even did not play a full day but before the two sessions, they got packet. South Africa totally played 51.4 overs in their first innings. Without Starc, Lyon took three wickets for Australia where Hazlewood and Cummins took one wicket each.

According to the latest news of the match, Australia is in bat for the 2nd innings and already lost six wickets so far. They scored total 181 runs till now and players are still in the crease.
