Sri Lankan Fast Bowler ban for an Illegal Bowling Action

Dasun Shanaka and Dhammika Prasad missing England tour due to injury, and they Shaminda Eranga was taken to increase the pace attack. However, in the second test against England Shaminda Eranga fell to the umpire’s eyes. His bowling actions have some problem. This right-arm fast bowler had failed to pass the test where he was given test after the match. Due to invalid Action Shaminda Eranga has been suspended from international cricket.

May 31, at Chester-le-Trent Test umpires expressed doubts about his bowling action. Later, on June 6, in lab test it had been seen, his all delivery crossed 15 degree angle. He was banned from international cricket but he can play in domestic cricket said by ICC.

However, Action is illegal, but ICC said he can comeback after correct action. Then again, he has to give test. When he passed the exam only if he can release.
