Sri Lanka Squad of England

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced their squad for Limited over cricket series against England and Ireland. Lankans already lost three-Test series against England by 2- 0.

Led by Mathew’s squad, all-rounder spinner Melinda Siriwardhana dropped from the 15-man squad.  SLC has revealed the names of five people who will join the squad. They are Pervez Maharoof, Upul Tharanga, Seekkuge Prasanna, Danushka Gunathilaka and Suraj Randiv.

But when the dropped player Test squad will return home was not announced. However, team manager Charith Senanayake confirmed, with Siriwardhana,  Dimuth Karunaratne, Kaushal Silva, Dilruwan Perera can go back to Sri Lanka. Rangana Herath, who retired in limited-over cricket.

Tillakaratne Dilshan will not in the series because of his personal problem and he said if before to board. Therefore, that, 39-year-old experienced opener is not with the squad.

After losing test series Sri Lanka will play five one-day series (1, 4, 6, 9 June, July), and a T-20 (5 July) against England. Before this, the visitors will play two one-day internationals against Ireland in Dublin (16, 18 June). T-20 Squad still not announced by the SLC.

Sri Lanka squad: Angelo Mathews (captain), Lahiru Thirimanne, Dinesh Chandimal, Kushal Perera, Danushka Gunathilaka, Upul Tharanga, Dhananjaya de Silva, Shaminda Eranga, Nuwan Pradeep, Suranga Lakmal, Kushal Mendis, Sasun Senanayake, Pervez Maharoof, Suraj Randiv, Seekkuge Prasanna.
