South Africa cricket team is currently under scheduled to play the ODI series against India where India cricket team is visiting South Africa in recent time. The ODI series between them consists of six matches where India already secured the series by winning first three matches consecutively. In the 4th ODI, if India managed another victory, they could secure their series win but they failed. South Africa won by 5 runs at Johannesburg which was the 4tf ODI between them. So, winning the 4th match, South Africa has kept their chance alive to draw the series. To do so, they need to win rest two matches against India as well. Their upcoming 5tf ODI will take place in 13th February, 2018 at Port Elizabeth.

South Africa which is one of the most balanced team in all format of crickets and at their home venue, they are quite more dangerous. So, to defeat them at their home venue seems a difficult job even the most strong team India. Team India which is led by great batsman Virat Kohli has the most strong batting line up which is very tough to destroy. And earlier first three ODIs, India won the matches dominantly.

In the 4th ODI match between South Africa and India, It was hosted in 10th February, 2018 at Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. In the match, India won the toss and let Proteas to bowl first. So, came to bat team India scored 289 runs in 50 overs. They lost seven wickets where Shikhar Dhawan made a century. He scored 109 runs by facing 105 balls. For Proteas Lungi Ngidi took two wickets highest by bowling ten overs.

Later, South Africa came to bat when rain affected the match. So, it was getting tough to chase the score with on the ground. Later, considering D/L method, the target was reduced to 202 from 28 overs. Earlier South Africa started to chase the score and in 25.3 overs they made 207 runs by losing five wickets. So, when umpires applied the D/L method, South Africa was announced the winner of the match. Heinrich Klaasen remained not out with his 43 runs innings. He made that in 27 balls. He was declared as the player of the match later. So, it was the 1st victory of South Africa in the ongoing ODI series against Men in Blue.

In the ongoing tournament considering the all four matches, South Africa facing batting trouble and they need to fix this up. Now, they have two matches left and they need to win both times.
