South Africa Win’s in the first ODI

South Africa has a good start in the five-match ODI series against West Indies. South African camp won by 61 runs by rain law Darkaoyarth-Lewis method.

Won the toss and decided to bat first, 8 wickets in 48.2 over’s, scored 279 runs by South Africa. Then the rain started. A few hours of the game is stopped. Protease highest scorer skipper AB de Villiers scored 81 runs. Miller scored 70 runs.

Although the run-out for 66 runs in the opener Hashim Amla made a unique achievement. He is the fastest batsmen scored 5000 runs in ODI cricket history (101 innings). West Indies bowler Taylor and Russell took 2 wickets, holders and Ben took 1 wicket each

Referee was took the steps to reduce the length of the match because of rains. West Indies get 226 runs within 32 over’s, target to victory. But West Indies was bowled out for 168 runs in just 28.2 overs.

Hard hitter batsmen Chris Gayle scored highest 41 runs in 24 balls. Ramadin and Smith also scored 31 runs and 29 runs. South African Philander, Steyn and Imran Tahir took 3 wickets each. Captain AB de Villiers was the Men of the Match.

Next match of the ODI series will hold in Johannesburg tomorrow (Sunday)
