Sunrisers Hyderabad is a franchise team in Indian Premier League which has qualified for the playoff round in the ongoing season of IPL as the first team. Till now, they have played 13 group stage matches where among them they won nine times so far. With 18 points they are on the top position on the point table. In their 13th match, team Sunrisers Hyderabad faced one of their old enemy named Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the match, Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 14 runs and in the season, it was one of the biggest achievement of RCB.

The match took place at the home venue of Royal Challengers Bangalore named M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Due to he home venue support, RCB played with full confidence and as a result, they claimed the victory against the most balanced team in the season.

It was obviously their 2nd head to head fight where earlier in the first head to head fight at the home venue of Sunrisers Hyderabad, SRH won the match. Now, this both teams have become an even in the tournament.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is not passing such kinds of good time in the season. They have won six matches by playing 13th match totally in group stage. So, it seems that they are still in doubt of playing knockout round. They could be ruled out from the group stage in the season. They are in 5th position and have one match in hand.

The match between RCB and SRH was the 51st match in the ongoing tournament which took place in 17th May, 2018. In the match, guest team Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bowl first. Royal Challengers Bangalore came to bat by getting no other choice. Patel and Kohli wanted to lead the team from the front but they failed. De Villiers and Ali played well and destructively. Later, Grandhomme also played well. Three of them scored 69 runs, 65 runs and 40 runs respectively. So, at the end of the innings, team RCB presented 218 runs target in front of SRH by losing six wickets only. Bowlers of SRH were so expensive where Basil Thampi was top expensive in the tournament.

Dhawan and Hales also made a good start for SRH. Dhawan scored 18 runs and Hales scored 37 runs so far. Later, Williamson played also well who scored highest 81 runs in 42 balls. Pandey scored 62 runs more. They finished their innings scoring 204 runs in exchange for three wickets. So, SRH faced their 4th defeat by 14 runs against RCB.
