Zimbabwe was at the door of loosing after only few overs of the play but from that state some magnificent performance did not only help them win it all but also helped with some records on their part.

Let us review this amazing cricket match and see what happened here.

by the end of only 49 runs Zimbabwe had already lost 7 wickets and some started fearing if they would even get past 55 runs mark which could potentially be the lowest runs in ODI ever. However, the experienced Hamilton Masakadza once again helped the team when he was needed the most. Along withe creamer and him on the field, they managed to get 175 runs in the board after the end of their innings. this in the end was a good total and it allowed the Zimbabweans to fight back in the match. they were already behind the Afghan team since they lost the first 2 matches but they finally took a step towards winning by coming out of that crisis.

The magic happened after that. After the Zimbabwe players were bowled out, Afghanistan came to bat and was simply devastated. They could not get the past the 60 runs marks that the Zimbabwe team was afraid of at one moment. they were bowled out within 58 runs and that was the 2nd lowest score by any team in cricket history.

Luke Jongwe made a history for the team and took 5 wickets by giving away only 6 runs in his 5 over  ball that he bowled. There was another record that both team lost their first two wickets without getting a single run on board which never happened before.

Also, Zimbabwe made the world record of winning a match after loosing their 7 wickets before 50 runs. No other team in the world, have managed to pull that off. their thanks should go to Masakadza since he had become the anchor for the team in all these 3 matches.

Afghan team also was saved from a very embarrassing record this day as they were got all out within 14 overs which was the lowest by any team but somehow managed to bat till the 16th over and avoided that.
