RCB was eliminated from group stage

Royal Challengers Bangalore which is simply known as RCB is currently led by Indian national team captain Virat Kohli. RCB is one of the most popular team in Indian Premier League and in every season of IPL, they are regarded as one of the most strong team as well. In the ongoing season of IPL which is the 11th episode Royal Challengers Bangalore could not do much better. They have won only six matches totally by playing all fourteen group stage matches. As a result, RCB was eliminated from group stage of IPL 2018 as the 2nd team. Earlier Delhi Daredevils was ruled out from the competition as the first team in the tournament.

RCB was eliminated from group stage

Though still Royal Challengers Bangalore is standing on the 6th position on the point table but they have finished their tour in IPL this time. They have played their last match against Rajasthan Royals and if they could manage a victory against RR in the last match, they could have a hope to move to the knockout stage.

Rajasthan Royals which has returned to the Indian Premier League after two seasons. They started the new season very poorly but day by day they have increased their winning streak. At the end of the group stage, they yet to qualify but they are in 4th position and still have a hope. They have won seven matches in group level and some facts are depending on the rest of the teams.

However, Rajasthan Royals played two matches against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the ongoing season and in both times they managed victories. It was so good for them and specially in the last match, they played well and got the most important victory.

The match between RCB and RR was the 53rd match in the ongoing tournament which took place in 19th May, 2018 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Earlier the match, local team Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bat first. In the do or die match, RR wanted a good start but in 2 runs opener Archer was gone. Later, Tripathi and Rahane led the match. Tripathi scored 80 runs highest and Rahane scored 33 runs. Another player Klaasen scored 32 runs so far. At the end of 20 overs in exchange for five wickets Rajasthan Royals scored 164 runs so far.

Excluding Patel and De Villiers no players of RCB played good in the match. Patel scored 33 runs and Villiers scored 53 runs for the team. In 19.2 overs RCB got all out.
